Job Requirements
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Must be attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings
- Maintain regular attendance as required by hotel scheduling
- Maintain professional appearance and wear proper uniform and nametag
- Comply with hotel standards and regulations
- Ability to handle problems effectively and apply complex information
- Must be able to cross-train in other hotel related areas
- Maintain confidentiality of information
- Must show initiative and anticipate guest or operational needs
Job Qualifications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- Experience in a hospitality or bar setting preferred
- Knowledge of beverage products and cocktail preparation
- Customer service oriented with a friendly and courteous demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Team player with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees
- Receive all liquor, beer and wine from storeroom on a daily basis
- Maintain the cleanliness of the bar, refrigerators, and service areas of the bar in an organized manner
- Replenish all liquor, beer and wine as needed in the bar during the shift
- Be familiar with beverages, cocktails and hotel mixing portion control according to hotel standards
- Assist in opening and closing side-work as assigned
- Assist in ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar or lounge areas
