Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education required
  • prior hospitality or restaurant experience preferred
  • must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • ability to stand and move for up to four hours
  • ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • ability to push and pull carts up to 250 lbs
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • must maintain neat and well-groomed appearance
  • regular attendance and punctuality
  • compliance with company safety and security policies
  • ability to work in varied temperature conditions
  • basic computer and computational skills required
  • must possess good listening and visual ability
  • ability to work independently and in team settings

Job Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent education
  • prior hospitality or restaurant experience preferred
  • must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • safe server alcohol and food certification preferred
  • good communication skills, verbal, written and electronic
  • excellent leadership capability and customer relations skills
  • detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication abilities
  • basic computer skills

  • ability to handle high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy
  • knowledgeable about Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS

  • strong issue resolution and analytical skills
  • knowledge of table and bar service
  • knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and flavor profiles

Job Duties

  • Stocks bar items such as glassware, straws, toothpicks, napkins, garnishes, ice, towels, and cleaning supplies
  • assists with recipe batching, ice molding, liquor infusions, washing and preparing garnishes
  • ensures taps, coolers, and appliances like blenders or coffee makers are clean and functional
  • assists bartenders with customer orders and point-of-sale processing during peak hours
  • clears tables using proper methods
  • cleans bar and table surfaces throughout the shift
  • wipes down chairs, railings, and high-touch surfaces
  • removes and disposes of trash bags in bar area
  • sweeps and mops bar service and customer areas
  • secures liquor, beer, and wine products safely
  • washes glassware and dishes as needed
  • assists service team to meet guest expectations
  • performs other duties assigned by supervisors
