Job Requirements
- must be at least twenty-one years old
- able to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- valid Food Handlers Certification
- valid Alcohol Service Licensing or certification
- ability to lift at least 15 pounds
- ability to stand for prolonged periods
- strong attention to detail
- excellent teamwork and communication skills
- customer service oriented
- compliance with legal drinking age and local alcohol regulations
Job Qualifications
- must be at least twenty-one years old
- previous experience as a barback or similar role preferred but not mandatory
- must have valid Food Handlers Certification
- must have Alcohol Service Licensing or certification
- ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant POS such as Aloha Hot Schedule Paylocity
- strong organizational skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- commitment to providing outstanding customer service and ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- basic knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages advantageous
Job Duties
- support bartenders by replenishing supplies such as ice garnishes and glassware in a timely manner
- set up and break down the bar area including cleaning polishing glassware restocking drink ingredients and arranging bar tools and equipment
- maintain cleanliness by regularly cleaning and organizing counters floors shelves and equipment
- manage stock by monitoring inventory levels and communicating with bar manager or supervisor to ensure adequate supplies
- assist in serving customers by taking orders delivering drinks and providing exceptional customer service
- collaborate with bartenders to prepare and serve specialty cocktails operate beverage equipment such as blenders and coffee machines
- adhere to safety sanitation and alcohol service regulations and report any safety hazards or incidents promptly
- work closely with bartenders servers and other staff to ensure efficient communication and seamless operations during peak hours
- stay updated on beverage trends recipes and bar techniques and attend training sessions and workshops
- perform other related duties as assigned
