Job Requirements
- Minimum age 21 or according to local alcohol service laws
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2+ years in high-volume restaurant or bar environment
- Knowledge of drink recipes and bar operations
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must maintain personal grooming and hygiene standards
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as required
- Capability to stand for long periods
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and accept feedback
- Compliance with health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of high-volume restaurant/bar experience
- Knowledgeable of menu items including mixing and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment
- Knowledgeable of computers and Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
- Able to effectively communicate in English in both written and verbal forms
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills
- Cleanliness and organization skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong dedication to learning and motivation to progress in fine dining
- Impeccable grooming, good hygiene, posture
- Responsive to constructive feedback from management
Job Duties
- Understand and perform job duties to the expectations of TableOne Hospitality's service, food, beverage, and wine manuals
- Assist the bartender with preparation of drinks, mixes and garnishes
- Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar area
- Maintain sufficient stock of all items and products in designated work areas
- Ensure proper set up, labeling, stocking and delivery of alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, supplies, glasses, paper products, garnishes, and ice
- Clean equipment, tools, supplies, polish glassware and ensure equipment is in working order
- Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority
- refer matters to management when necessary
- Notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
- Execute and facilitate service in cooperation with other Barbacks, Bartenders, and Managers
- Welcome all guests and ensure guests receive responsive, professional, and gracious service at all times
- Answer questions about the menu, specific food items, the wine list or any other inquiries
- Understand any changes in the menu, dietary restrictions, food allergies
- Maintain a clean, safe environment at all times in the bar
- Fully understand and comply with all relevant health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
