Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred but not required
- Experience in the food industry or catering encouraged
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures beneficial
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling best practices a plus
- Experience in hotel or hospitality settings advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately using the POS system and cash register
- Assist with food preparation and service as needed, including bussing tables and maintaining food handling standards
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and ensure satisfaction with their experience
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the food service industry
