Job Requirements
- Must be at least twenty-one years old
- Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification
- Must have an Alcohol Service Licensing or certification
- Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant POS such as Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Prolonged periods standing and preparing drinks
- Ability to complete orders quickly and accurately
- Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least twenty-one years old
- Previous experience as a barback or similar role preferred but not mandatory
- Basic knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails and their ingredients is advantageous
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to provide outstanding customer service
- Valid Food Handlers Certification
- Alcohol Service Licensing or certification
- Ability to learn cash register software such as Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity
Job Duties
- Support bartenders by replenishing supplies such as ice, garnishes, and glassware in a timely manner
- Set up and break down the bar area including cleaning, polishing glassware, restocking ingredients, and arranging equipment
- Maintain cleanliness by regularly cleaning and organizing the bar area including counters, floors, shelves, and equipment
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the bar manager or supervisor to ensure adequate supplies, retrieving items from storage as needed
- Assist bartenders in serving customers by taking orders, delivering drinks, and providing exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with bartenders to prepare and serve specialty cocktails and operate beverage equipment such as blenders and coffee machines
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations, reporting any safety hazards or incidents promptly
- Work closely with bartenders, servers, and other staff to ensure efficient communication and seamless operations during peak hours and events
- Stay updated on beverage trends, recipes, and bar techniques through training and workshops
- Perform other related duties as assigned
