Job Requirements
- Must be at least twenty-one years old
- Valid Food Handlers Certification
- Alcohol Service Licensing or certification
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift at least 15 pounds
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of beverages is advantageous
- Compliance with legal drinking age and alcohol service regulations
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least twenty-one years old
- Prior experience as a barback or similar role preferred but not mandatory
- Valid Food Handlers Certification
- Alcohol Service Licensing or certification
- Ability to learn cash register software such as Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to outstanding customer service
Job Duties
- Support bartenders by replenishing supplies such as ice, garnishes, and glassware in a timely manner
- Set up and break down the bar area including cleaning and polishing glassware, restocking drink ingredients, and arranging equipment
- Regularly clean and organize the bar area including counters, floors, shelves, and equipment to meet hygiene standards
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management to ensure adequate supply of beverages and supplies
- Assist bartenders in serving customers by taking orders and delivering drinks while providing exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with bartenders in preparing specialty cocktails and operating beverage equipment
- Adhere to safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations and report safety hazards
- Work closely with staff to ensure efficient communication during busy periods
- Stay updated on beverage trends and attend training sessions to enhance skills
- Perform other related duties as assigned
