Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros
- Ability to maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for hospitality and food service
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting with an emphasis on food service and hospitality
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems
- Background in catering banquet service or hotel environments is a plus
- Experience in cleaning and maintaining kitchen or bar areas
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- A passion for the food industry
- Relevant certifications in food handling or safety are advantageous
Job Duties
- Assist bartenders by preparing and restocking supplies including glassware garnishes and beverages
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces
- Support food preparation tasks as needed ensuring timely service during events or busy nights
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs promptly
- Buss tables and assist with food service during banquets or special events
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations within the bar area
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere for both staff and patrons
