Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in hospitality or food service preferred
Ability to work flexible hours including day and night shifts
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
Strong communication skills
Ability to commute or relocate to Silver Spring MD
Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining a sanitary work environment
Experience in food preparation and handling within the food industry
Familiarity with POS systems particularly Aloha POS or Micros POS
Previous experience in nightclubs restaurants or hotels is highly desirable
Background in bussing serving or catering enhances your candidacy
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of hospitality
Previous kitchen experience or barista experience is an advantage

Job Duties

Assist bartenders by preparing and restocking the bar with necessary supplies including glassware garnishes and beverages
Maintain cleanliness of the bathrooms and bar area including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces
Support food preparation tasks as needed to ensure timely service
Bus tables and clear away used dishes and glasses to keep the area tidy
Operate POS systems for order processing and transactions
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs promptly
Assist in catering events or banquets as required ensuring all food service standards are met
Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless operations
