Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
customer service experience or restaurant experience a plus
ability to work varied shifts including weekends
capacity to stand for extended periods
ability to lift up to 50 pounds
ability to perform physical tasks involving bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching

Job Duties

Greet and acknowledge guests when performing barback related functions
retrieve orders from storeroom
visually check stock received against written requisition
re-check items with bartender for completeness
cut, slice and peel perishable garnishes and fruits
mix and pour juices in sufficient amounts
store back-up supplies requiring refrigeration
check and assist bartender in maintaining adequate supplies such as stir sticks, napkins, matches
maintain cleanliness of bar area, beer lockers, refrigeration and storage areas
scoop ice from ice bins and transport to service areas
box and save empty liquor bottles for returns
transport and replace taps for beer kegs
follow sustainability guidelines related to EarthView program
practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
perform other duties as requested by management
