Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be available to work nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs
- Must be able to perform the essential physical functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching with hands and arms, and using fingers and wrists for extended periods up to 8-10 hours per shift
- Must be able to communicate effectively, including speaking and hearing in a busy kitchen environment
- Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds on occasion
- Must be able to tolerate and work in various kitchen environments including high temperatures and humidity near cooking equipment, cold conditions in walk-in coolers and freezers, and noisy, fast-paced environments with frequent interruptions
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced cocktail establishment, fine dining experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of mixology, classic cocktails, and modern drink trends
- Familiarity with back bar selections, high-end spirits, and luxury garnishes
- Excellent guest interaction, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining order and consistency in inventory and storage
- Comfortable using knives, burners, and other kitchen prep tools for executing syrup, infusion, juicing, and other modern cocktail preparations
- A high level of personal grooming, poise, and professionalism
- A commitment to excellence, integrity, and continuous learning
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness, stock levels, and organization of the bar area including glassware, tools, and storage spaces
- Ensure bar equipment is properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to the bar manager or lead bartender
- Support bartenders during busy periods by running drinks, preparing mixers, or assisting with guest requests when appropriate
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures in compliance with company and legal standards
- Uphold the luxury atmosphere by maintaining professional conduct, grooming, and attention to detail at all times
