Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Prior food and beverage experience helpful but not required
  • Must obtain Bossier ABO and LACT
  • Familiarity with bar environment preferred
  • Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
  • Ability to stand, lift, walk, bend, and stoop throughout duration of shift

Job Duties

  • Interacts with beverage servers and guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
  • Ensures that the outlet is maintained and cleaned during all periods of operation
  • Maintains par levels of operating supplies and equipment for each bar, obtaining replacement stock from warehouse inventory in accordance with procedure
  • Stores liquors, fruits, glassware, linen, paper supplies and sundries in their designated areas, while following established storage guidelines and safety procedures
  • Maintains inventory of all bar related products
  • Supports bartender needs
  • ices drink glasses and pours non-alcoholic drinks as needed
  • Removes and properly disposes of all refuse and debris accumulated in restaurants and service stations in accordance with department procedures
  • sorts bottles and corrugated cardboard for recycling
  • Completes related job duties assigned by Supervisor
