Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude in maintaining cleanliness and organization
  • Good communication skills to effectively assist bartenders and collaborate with colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
  • Basic knowledge of various types of alcoholic beverages mixers and glassware is a plus
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing tasks and priorities
  • Legal drinking age as required by local laws and regulations
  • Utah DABS Alcohol and Food certificates

Job Duties

  • Stocking and replenishing bar supplies such as liquor mixers garnishes glassware and utensils
  • Checking inventory levels regularly and notifying management when supplies are running low
  • Cleaning and sanitizing the bar area including countertops sinks equipment and glassware
  • Collecting and washing glassware ensuring they are polished and ready for use
  • Emptying trash bins and keeping the bar area clean and free of debris
  • Organizing and maintaining bar tools such as shakers strainers and pour spouts
  • Assisting bartenders in preparing ingredients garnishes and specialty cocktails
  • Transporting kegs cases of beverages and other heavy items from storage areas to the bar
  • Setting up and breaking down the bar before and after shifts or events
  • Assisting with the setup and breakdown of event spaces if applicable
  • Being attentive to customer needs such as refilling water glasses and clearing empty glasses
  • Providing support during busy periods by fetching supplies and ingredients for bartenders
  • Following safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Reporting any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management
  • Adhering to company policies and regulations regarding alcohol service and customer interaction
  • Cooking any food ordered and delivering it to tables
