Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • six months to one year previous serving experience preferred
  • prior hospitality experience preferred
  • must obtain any required government licenses or certificates such as health card permit or liquor service permit
  • ability to stand, bend, stoop and lift weights up to 75 lbs
  • must maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations
  • ability to perform physical tasks including frequent walking and standing
  • willingness to attend mandatory meetings
  • ability to comply with safety and health standards

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge in preparation and service of alcoholic beverages
  • basic mathematical skills

  • ability to comprehend written product instructions
  • ability to work in confined spaces

Job Duties

  • Retrieve orders from storeroom
  • visually check stock received against requisition
  • re-check items with bartender
  • verify orders with manager
  • cut, slice and peel garnishes and fruits
  • mix and pour juices
  • store back-up supplies properly
  • assist bartender in maintaining supplies
  • maintain cleanliness of bar and storage areas
  • scoop and transport ice
  • replenish ice containers
  • transport taps
  • perform routine maintenance on beer kegs
