Job Requirements

  • Ability to work at a fast pace and complete routine duties efficiently
  • ability to understand oral and written instructions including product use labels and precautions
  • valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • ability to lift, bend, stoop, reach, carry, pull and push objects up to 10 pounds, independently or with assistance
  • frequent standing for over 5 hours per shift
  • ability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • regular attendance required
  • physical ability to handle moderate to extreme stress
  • ability to maintain visual focus and use peripheral vision
  • ability to follow proper lifting and carrying techniques

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred but not required
  • valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
  • ability to work at a fast pace and complete routine duties efficiently
  • ability to understand oral and written instructions including product labels
  • knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • ability to complete monetary transactions accurately
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to policy, procedure, and guest interactions
  • ability to consistently demonstrate trained techniques for customer service and equipment use

Job Duties

  • Maintains high knowledge regarding company’s products and happening events
  • effectively communicates such to guests
  • maintains the cleanliness of bar, counters, glassware, and utensils
  • stocks the bar initially with liquor, beer, wine, juices, mixes, glassware, utensils, napkins, garnishes, condiments, and provides aid to bartenders in re-stocking and maintaining par levels
  • documents inventory use, spills, and waste
  • stocks refrigerating units and changes empty beer kegs
  • monitors coolers for proper temperature and reports deficiencies
  • maintains adequate supply of ice
  • empties trash cans regularly and ensures they are cleaned and lined
  • cleans and stocks the supply room
  • notifies manager of low inventory and recommends purchases
  • assists bartenders with cleaning and breakdown of bars at shift end
  • completes all opening, running, and closing duties
  • assists in training new employees
  • follows proper lifting and carrying techniques
  • performs other duties as assigned
