Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in barback or related role preferred
ability to follow brand recipes and maintain stock levels
strong communication and customer service skills
physical ability to perform cleaning and stocking duties
availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
willingness to complete required training
ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in a barback or similar role preferred
knowledge of bar operations and cleaning procedures
ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
strong attention to detail
good physical stamina for standing and lifting
excellent customer service skills
basic knowledge of health and safety standards
ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Job Duties

Prepare the bar recipes in accordance to brand specs and anticipated business
follow proper mug rotation to ensure frozen mugs 100 percent of the time
follow balon cleaning procedures to prevent build up and maintain items used for balones such as soccer balls, bases, spouts, magnets and chill sticks
assist bartender with their job functions ensuring a consistent flow of services to guest and cocktail servers
ensure that bar and floors are clean and used glassware is removed from bar tops
clear and wipe down tables in any lounge area in absence of a server
maintain a clean work environment in accordance with health department standards
check glass washers for proper chemical mixture and volume
maintain par stock levels by placing orders for wine, champagne, beer, liquor, and perishables at start of shift
receive and deliver all products to appropriate outlet and stock in accordance to specification
stock server wells in accordance to specifications with all product and supplies required
cut fruit to specification and prepare all condiment caddies
collect trash from all outlets throughout shift and wipe down walls behind trash containers
distribute clean bar towels and collect soiled ones and discard them appropriately
collect excess glasses from bars and restock in appropriate outlets as per specification and retrieve bar glassware from dish areas
organize and clean pump rooms, coolers, and storage areas to specification
sweep and mop pump room, coolers, and storage area floors
soak and clean soda bag-in-box hoses and nozzles
replace and rotate draught beer kegs
attend and complete all required training as assigned
ensure customer satisfaction by smiling and answering any questions customers may ask
