Job Requirements

  • Must be 20+ 1 Day years of age or older
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • ability to work a variety of shifts including day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • ability to obtain required work cards, alcohol awareness cards and nongaming registration as required by local jurisdiction
  • must pass any and all required background checks
  • ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
  • ability to maintain professionalism and a friendly demeanor
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers
  • must comply with all company safety policies
  • must be honest and display integrity
  • must maintain regular attendance at scheduled shifts
  • ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, balance, and work at a bar
  • ability to tolerate changes in temperature and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning solutions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
  • ability to work a variety of shifts including day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • ability to obtain required work cards, alcohol awareness cards and nongaming registration as required by local jurisdiction
  • ability to pass any and all required background checks
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • basic knowledge of bar operations and inventory management is preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean and well-organized bar
  • stock liquor, beer, ice, wine, and glassware throughout the shift
  • properly label, date, cover, and refrigerate prepped items in the bar
  • perform opening, closing and side duties, setting up/breaking down the bar, cleaning glass/countertops, sweeping the floor
  • rotate product to maintain freshness
  • put away liquor/beer orders as necessary
  • prepare fruit and other garnish and make scratch recipes if applicable
  • assist the bartender in greeting guests and welcoming them upon arrival to the bar
  • assist with food delivery and pre-bussing as necessary based on shift assignment
  • maintain regular attendance at scheduled shift and staff meetings
  • consistently use all bar equipment, cleaning, and sanitizing products in accordance with all MSDS sheets and departmental standards
  • provide BIG Service to internal and external guests and ensure their complete satisfaction
  • develop and maintain professional, trusting, and positive working relationships with managers, supervisors, staff, coworkers, guests, and vendors
  • ensure work activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner
  • work safely by following company safety policies and procedures
  • maintain professionalism and a friendly and approachable demeanor throughout the workday
  • assist with training/mentoring of new team members as requested
  • maintain all appearance standards according to established uniform and appearance guidelines
  • inform manager on duty of any irregularities and unusual situations when they occur
  • keep a friendly, calm, and helpful demeanor in high-stress situations and a continuously fast-paced environment
  • display a high degree of integrity
  • work independently with little to no supervision or as part of a team
  • remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
