Job Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • high school diploma or GED
  • valid permit to serve alcohol as required by the state
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • good sense of balance and physical stamina
  • ability to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat frequently
  • ability to stand and move steadily for up to four hours
  • effective communication skills
  • prior restaurant hospitality experience

Job Duties

  • Keep the bar stocked with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins, and all other necessary items before and during service hours
  • prepare garnishes, refill ice wells, change beer kegs and restock napkins and straws
  • coordinate with managers, kitchen staff and security personnel to ensure efficient service to customers
  • observe bar guests to ensure satisfaction with food, beverages, and service and respond promptly to needs or requests
  • adhere to and comply with all state and local liquor laws and company policies regarding alcoholic beverages service
  • keep the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles
  • practice teamwork by assisting fellow employees to enhance guests' experience
  • maintain records and report inventory levels to assist reordering and proper storage of delivered items
