Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
one to two years of experience in barback, food runner, or busser roles
ability to stand and walk for extended periods
strong communication skills
ability to carry up to 30 lbs
flexible availability including weekends and holidays
excellent organizational skills
ability to multitask under pressure
customer service orientation
adherent to grooming and uniform standards
ability to work as part of a team
basic knowledge of food and beverage service protocols

Job Qualifications

One to two years previous experience in a barback, food runner, or busser role, preferably within a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant
ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
multilingual abilities highly preferred
capable of maintaining composure during peak hours
capability to carry trays up to 30 lbs
excellent communication skills
flexible to work in different shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Maintain a fully stocked and organized bar including spirits, beers, wines, mixers, and garnishes
replenish ice, glassware, and other bar essentials throughout service
assist bartenders with pre-service setup and post-service breakdown
keep the bar area clean, sanitized, and presentable at all times
wash and polish glassware and bar tools
support bartenders in preparing for busy periods and special events
efficiently and accurately run food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring all dishes are presented to the highest standard
communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery of food
bus tables and clean dining areas, resetting them for the next guests
assist with the breakdown of bar seating areas at the end of service
provide general assistance to servers and bartenders as needed
uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards
handle all guest interactions with a professional, friendly, and positive demeanor
anticipate the needs of the service team and act proactively to ensure smooth operations
maintain a deep knowledge of our food and beverage menus
maintain impeccable grooming standards, wearing the assigned uniform exactly as specified
wear the official hotel lapel pin prominently as part of the uniform requirement unless embroidered onto uniform
perform all other duties that may be assigned as needed by your manager
