Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one to two years of experience in barback, food runner, or busser roles
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- strong communication skills
- ability to carry up to 30 lbs

Job Qualifications
- One to two years previous experience in a barback, food runner, or busser role, preferably within a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant
- ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- multilingual abilities highly preferred

- capability to carry trays up to 30 lbs
- excellent communication skills

Job Duties
- Maintain a fully stocked and organized bar including spirits, beers, wines, mixers, and garnishes
- replenish ice, glassware, and other bar essentials throughout service
- assist bartenders with pre-service setup and post-service breakdown
- keep the bar area clean, sanitized, and presentable at all times
- wash and polish glassware and bar tools
- support bartenders in preparing for busy periods and special events
- efficiently and accurately run food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring all dishes are presented to the highest standard
- communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery of food
- bus tables and clean dining areas, resetting them for the next guests
- assist with the breakdown of bar seating areas at the end of service
- provide general assistance to servers and bartenders as needed
- uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- handle all guest interactions with a professional, friendly, and positive demeanor
- anticipate the needs of the service team and act proactively to ensure smooth operations
- maintain a deep knowledge of our food and beverage menus
- maintain impeccable grooming standards, wearing the assigned uniform exactly as specified
- wear the official hotel lapel pin prominently as part of the uniform requirement unless embroidered onto uniform
- perform all other duties that may be assigned as needed by your manager
