As a premier gaming hall, it upholds the highest standards in hospitality, ensuring that each visitor enjoys a safe, welcoming, and exciting atmosphere. The Mint Gaming Hall is dedicated to fostering a workplace that champions inclusivity, making it an ideal destination for individuals who seek to grow their careers in a stimulating and rewarding setting.
Currently, The Mint Gaming Hall is seeking enthusiastic candidates for the role of Bar Back. This position is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the bar area by maintaining cleanliness, stock levels, and overall organization. Working as a Bar Back at The Mint offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a lively team where every member plays a pivotal role in delivering excellent guest experiences. The position offers a competitive wage starting at $15 per hour with the advantage of weekly pay, making financial management straightforward for employees. Moreover, the potential to earn up to $2,000 in bonuses within the first year adds an enticing incentive for high performers.
The role of the Bar Back involves a variety of responsibilities that directly impact the quality of service delivered to guests. From maintaining a clean and well-organized bar to assisting bartenders and engaging with patrons in a friendly manner, this role demands attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude. Bar Backs at The Mint are vital in supporting day-to-day bar operations, including handling inventory, preparing garnishes, rotating stock for freshness, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards as per departmental guidelines and MSDS sheets. This role also encompasses public interaction, where Bar Backs assist in creating a welcoming environment by greeting guests and helping with food delivery and pre-bussing duties when necessary.
Educationally, this position prefers candidates with a high school diploma or a GED, and it mandates the ability to work flexible shifts that may include days, evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Compliance with local jurisdictional requirements, including valid work and alcohol awareness cards and non-gaming registration, is mandatory. Additionally, candidates must be at least 21 years old and pass all necessary background checks to qualify for employment. The Mint Gaming Hall places a strong emphasis on attendance and punctuality, as regular presence at scheduled shifts and staff meetings is critical for team cohesion and operational success.
Finally, employees at The Mint Gaming Hall benefit from an array of comprehensive perks, such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, fully paid company life insurance, a 401K plan with company match, and options for Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA). The company prides itself not just on its benefits but also on fostering a vibrant workplace where employees are encouraged to have "BIG FUN!" It is a place that values the balance between professionalism and enjoyment, making it an attractive opportunity for candidates who are passionate about hospitality and looking to make a positive impact in the gaming and entertainment industry.
