Job Duties
- Perform opening and closing tasks including organizing supplies and equipment, cleaning all equipment and areas, and locking doors
- Confirm with captain or supervisor before leaving at the end of the shift
- Organize, stock, and maintain work areas
- Supply ice, glassware, and paper provisions
- Remove dirty items from bar surfaces and tables
- Keep work areas, bar furniture, tables, and tools clean and in good condition according to established guidelines
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- Uphold a neat and professional uniform and personal appearance
- Maintain confidentiality of company information and protect its assets
- Support coworkers with dignity and respect and assist the team in achieving common goals
- Meet quality assurance expectations and standards
- Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance
- Stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods or entire shifts
- Read and visually verify information in various formats
- Reach above the head and below the knees, bend, twist the waist, drag, and stoop
- Navigate inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards
- Communicate using clear and professional language and answer phone calls with proper etiquette
- Perform other reasonable job tasks requested by supervisors
