Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • experience in hospitality or restaurant bussing preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods of time
  • proper lifting techniques and physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to move throughout the hotel with walking, kneeling and bending
  • good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • ability to work in noisy, hot or cold environments
  • compliance with TIPS alcohol training guidelines
  • willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

  • Experience in similar position within an upscale restaurant environment is preferred

Job Duties

  • Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift
  • promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring water to table
  • remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course
  • clear tables after guests and take tableware to dish room
  • promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths between seating and reset tables
  • respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate requests to server
  • assist server with food delivery especially with large parties and during peak periods
