Job Requirements
- Must stand for the entirety of shift
- Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds
- Must have a full range of motion of arms and hands to reach, grasp, and place
- Availability for at least three shifts per week
- Availability for at least two shifts between Friday and Sunday
- Prior experience working in a kitchen environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a restaurant environment
- Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment
- Ability to undertake various duties and multi-task
- Familiarity with all current sanitation regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
Job Duties
- Set up the kitchen with any additional equipment needs to execute our desired menu
- Maintain all kitchen/bar equipment for maximum use and longevity
- Study each recipe
- Ensure clean and appealing plate presentation
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
- Approach others in a polite and tactful manner
- Maintain composure and react well under pressure
