Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience preferred
  • able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming or racing license
  • demonstrate effective communication skills
  • ability to perform under stressful and physically demanding conditions
  • capacity to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds
  • willingness to work in a smoking environment and handle high-pressure situations
  • available to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • maintain confidentiality and security of information
  • ability to work collaboratively with diverse team members

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hospitality preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • multitasking abilities with minimal supervision
  • knowledge of inventory management and product rotation
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to handle cash accurately
  • eligibility to obtain and maintain Kentucky gaming or racing license

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of bar outlets
  • stock and rotate products on a first-in, first-out basis
  • assist in setup and breakdown of functions
  • interact and communicate effectively with guests to maintain great relations
  • ensure proper inventory control including checking product dates and labeling
  • deliver requisitions timely
  • maintain equipment standards and report malfunctions
  • follow departmental safety and sanitation guidelines
  • perform routine inventory checks
  • provide timely bar and alcohol service while maintaining alcohol awareness procedures
