The Barback position plays a crucial role in supporting the bartenders and enhancing the overall efficiency of our bar service. This role involves consistently keeping the bar stocked with essential supplies such as juices, liquors, beers, and fresh fruit garnishes. The Barback is responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the bar area, including washing glassware, mopping floors, and managing waste removal to keep the workspace safe and tidy. Additionally, this role requires changing and replacing kegs when needed, ensuring ice wells remain full and clean, and rotating beer stock in accordance with inventory best practices. Other duties include collecting dirty dishes and glasses, wiping down counters after guests leave, and assisting with general maintenance reporting to management. This position demands stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service as the Barback directly affects the speed and quality of service provided to guests.
