Job Requirements

- Previous hosting experience required

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining composure
- Proficiency in restaurant reservation and POS systems a plus
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival with professionalism and genuine hospitality
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and walk-in seating using reservation systems
- Direct and support the host team to ensure seamless seating and optimal table rotation
- Communicate guest needs, special occasions, and table requests to servers and managers
- Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting host stand and entrance area
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary
- Oversee and train host staff on service standards, guest interaction, and reservation systems
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to manage seating pace during peak times
- Monitor dining room flow to balance guest experience with operational efficiency
- Assist with opening and closing duties for the host team
- Represent the restaurant's brand and uphold its commitment to providing a warm, upscale, and family-friendly atmosphere
