Job Requirements
- Availability to work part-time hours
- ability to lift and carry heavy items such as kegs and stock
- attention to detail and cleanliness
- ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- basic food handling knowledge
- age requirement as per local laws for alcohol service
- willingness to follow health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred but not required
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- good communication skills
- basic knowledge of bar equipment and beverage types is an advantage
- strong team player with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Stocks refrigerating units with wines and bottled beers
- replaces empty beer kegs with full ones
- slices and pits fruit used to garnish drinks
- washes glasses, bar and equipment, and polishes bar fixtures
- provides beverage service when needed
- requests identification from guests when legal age is questioned
- assists bartenders when needed
- performs other related duties as assigned
