Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 20 lbs and stand for long periods
- Must have valid food handler's card
- Must have valid TABC certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Meets legal minimum age to serve alcohol
- Knowledge of bar menu items and basic drink preparation
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy items and work nights weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Assist with opening and closing duties including restocking garnishes towels and glassware
- Maintain inventory of ice liquor wine and beer
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing kegs
- Keep the bar clean by wiping surfaces sweeping mopping and emptying trash
- Memorize cocktail recipes and menu items
- Support bartenders with taking orders preparing drinks bussing tables and processing payments
- Engage with customers answer questions and handle complaints
- Monitor stock usage and assist in reordering
