Job Duties
- Create and maintain a positive work environment fostering teamwork and professional growth
- maintain the cleanliness of the bar area through waste disposal, glassware cleaning, and wiping down surfaces
- participate in deep cleaning, respond to spills, and execute special guest requests
- assist bar staff when necessary
- collaborate with management to plan and execute events, promotions, and marketing initiatives
- maintain stock of consumable supplies including plates, napkins, and utensils
- keep stock levels updated in workstations, wells, and storage areas
- address beverage quality issues promptly
- develop comprehensive knowledge of beverages including ingredients and preparation
- prepare mixers, cut fruit, receive requisitions, check par levels, refill mixers, get ice, run food, and dispose of garbage
- sweep floors, polish brass and steel, mop, clean glassware and mirrors
- perform set up and breakdown of the bar
- ensure minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcohol
- create a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with guests
- communicate effectively with customers and team
- listen and respond appropriately to requests
- maintain composure during busy or emergency situations
- collaborate with all departments to ensure smooth operations
- ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- oversee alcohol safety practices including storage and handling
