Job Requirements
- Minimum high school education
- Prior experience in food and beverage service is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Must be courteous and professional
- Flexibility to work shifts including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

- Previous experience in bar or beverage service preferred
- Knowledge of standard drink recipes and portion control
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate point of sale (POS) systems
- Basic cash handling experience
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to health standards
- Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures

Job Duties
- Serve beverages and food to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner
- Prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests
- Act as cashier for the lounge handling cash transactions
- Greet guests politely and document orders for drinks
- Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control
- Maintain proper and adequate bar setup daily, including requisitioning and stocking supplies
- Maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, and perishables daily
- Receive cash from guests, provide change, verify charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are executed to balance money
- Lock up and store beverages, food, and equipment, deposit cash drops, and secure bank
- Answer bar phone promptly to take room service orders, enter orders into POS system, and create checks
- Perform general cleaning tasks using hotel cleaning products as assigned
- Adhere to all company policies, safety, and security procedures and rules
- Know department fire prevention and emergency procedures
- Utilize protective equipment
- Report unsafe conditions and incidents to supervisor
- Maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Perform related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
- Assist other beverage personnel when needed
