Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hospitality or barback role preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
  • strong work ethic and reliability
  • good communication skills
  • willingness to learn and take direction

  • basic food safety and sanitation knowledge

Job Duties

  • Restock bar inventory such as liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, and utensils during and after service
  • maintain cleanliness of the bar area including counters, sinks, floors, shelves, and storage areas
  • collect and wash used glassware and bar tools throughout the shift
  • assist bartenders with preparation tasks including slicing garnishes and prepping mixes or syrups
  • empty trash and recycling bins regularly ensuring sanitation standards are met
  • monitor and refill ice bins and replace CO2 tanks or keg lines as needed
  • help organize back bar and storage areas for efficiency and accessibility
  • ensure the bar is stocked and ready for the next shift or event
  • follow all safety and sanitation procedures including proper handling of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • provide general support to the bartenders and bar staff during peak hours
  • occasionally assist with deliveries and stock rotation using FIFO method
