Job Requirements
- must be able to pass exams with a 90 percent or better in food and beverage category
- must be able to pass all issued training testing throughout employment
- must adhere to proper health and hygiene standards
- punctuality and reliability
- ability to stand for extended periods
- must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in barback or similar hospitality role preferred
- knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and anticipate needs of bartenders
- commitment to teamwork and positive attitude
- basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
Job Duties
- report for all scheduled shifts punctually in proper attire and to proper health and hygiene standards
- maintain proper par levels if necessary make fresh syrups and house made mixes
- efficiently change kegs cut fruit and restock depleted product quickly
- ensure glassware is cleaned trash is emptied and pre bussing is maintained
- assist in maintaining the guest eye view behind the bar
- complete opening closing and running duties as assigned each shift
- learn and maintain knowledge of food beverage and company procedures to standard
- build a rapport with guests be active in assisting and communicating requests
- attend training sessions and team meetings as required per department
- comply with the company’s rules and procedures along with any reasonable requests made from management during a shift
- follow all health and safety guidelines maintaining to proper procedures and report to management any hazardous situation or incident
