Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong physical stamina
- Willingness to adhere to San Vicente's grooming and uniform standards
- Reliable transportation to work
- Age 18 or older
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or barback role preferred
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Good knowledge of food and beverage menus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of bar equipment and supplies
- Team-oriented attitude
Job Duties
- Assess business levels/events and set up and stock bars accordingly
- Ensure bar is well stocked with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Ensure bar is well stocked with all juices, mixers, ice, garnishes, napkins, straws, trash bin liners and all paper goods
- Greet all guests in a friendly manner
- Respond immediately and appropriately to all guest requests during service
- Thank guests as they are leaving
- Clear and clean bar area after guests leave, take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing
- Keep all liquor and beverage storage areas stocked, clean and organized at all times
- Help with inventory and communicate items that need replenishment
- Sweep, mop and remove trash and boxes from all bars and storage rooms
- Maintain a high level of personal cleanliness and immaculate uniform presentation
- Be a team player
- help out fellow staff whenever possible
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager on Duty
