Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
- ability to perform moderate physical activities including lifting, standing and cleaning
- availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- capacity to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
- willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Experience in guest service or hospitality preferred
- basic knowledge of bar operations and beverage preparation
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
- basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling
- ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
- physical capability to stand for long periods and perform cleaning and stocking tasks
- proficiency in English speaking and writing
Job Duties
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly professional manner when applicable
- assist bartenders with all aspects of guest service
- smile and maintain a positive attitude at all times
- wash and sterilize glassware and other serving equipment at bars
- prepare garnishes for drinks
- maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages
- maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas
- report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to bar manager
- maintain and stock adequate supplies of bar items such as glasses, cups, napkins, drink supplies, condiments
- stock refrigeration units with wines, beer, replace beer kegs
- replenish ice at bar
- empty bar trash cans
- attend all scheduled employee meetings
- perform additional tasks as assigned
