Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • minimum of two years experience as a Barback
  • able to provide any required work cards
  • ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • intermittent periods of sitting and computer work
  • read and verify information in various formats
  • visually inspect equipment for defects
  • ability to lift at least 50 pounds, with assistance if more
  • ability to move quickly turning left and right
  • flexibility in wrist to scoop, twist, push, pull, lift, bend
  • reach overhead and below the knees including bending and stooping
  • ability to be mobile in refrigeration units with temperatures from 40 F to -10 F

Job Duties

  • Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume periods
  • anticipate customer and store needs
  • follow operational policies including cash handling and safety
  • maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • ensure regular attendance and punctuality
  • follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • assist bartenders with their job functions
  • clean bar tops and floors
  • clear and wipe down tables
  • receive and deliver product to appropriate outlet and stock accordingly
  • engage with customers through conversation
  • distinguish differences in flavors and odors
  • maintain clarity of vision
  • comply with all safety regulations and rules
