Job Requirements
- Must be 19 years old to be employed
- legal minimum age to serve food and alcohol must be met depending on state regulations
- follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- complete food safety certification program or obtain food handlers card if required
- follow all uniform guidelines
- practice all safety and sanitation standards
- recycle products where possible
- maintain Hard Rock Core Values and Mission Statement
- ability to move throughout the cafe for extended periods including standing, walking, kneeling and bending
- ability to sit for extended periods
- ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists
- ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear
- manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- ability to occasionally move objects up to 10 pounds
- ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and noisy environments
- ability to travel via auto or airplane for long periods
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- practicing all general safety standards

- demonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and sense-of-urgency
- displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests
- remaining calm in a hectic, fast paced atmosphere
Job Duties
- Maintaining a clean and organized bar
- maintaining proper product pars through bar pulls and inventories
- stocking liquor, beer, ice, wine and glassware throughout the shift
- properly labeling, dating, covering and refrigerating prepped items in the bar
- performing opening, closing and side duties such as setting up and breaking down the bar, cleaning glassware and countertops, sweeping the floor
- rotating product to maintain freshness
- putting away liquor and beer orders if applicable
- preparing fruit and making scratch recipes if applicable
- working with a sense of urgency
- approaching guests and welcoming them upon arrival
- assisting in communicating with guests, hosts, servers and other bussers
- ensuring ongoing guest satisfaction by assisting with food delivery, pre-bussing, removing clutter and reacting to guest needs in a timely manner
- responding to guest inquiries in a courteous and polite manner
- creating memorable experiences for guests
- entertaining guests to create raving fans
- promptly and professionally handling guest issues and communicating problems and concerns to management
