Job Requirements

  • Must be at least twenty-one years of age
  • successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and hazardous material training
  • ability to perform physical tasks including brisk walking, climbing stairs, crouching, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, standing for entire shifts with breaks
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • capacity to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • regular and reliable attendance
  • proper uniform maintenance including wearing name tags and gaming license if applicable

Job Qualifications

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • one or more years of recent and related bar experience, preferably within hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environments
  • demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills in English
  • demonstrated problem solving, organizing, and prioritizing work
  • demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and specific deadlines

Job Duties

  • Assists bartenders with keeping the bar clean and well stocked
  • stocks bars with glassware, napkins, straws, garnishes, and beverages
  • interacts with guests in a positive and friendly manner
  • assists guests with questions regarding bar operations or resort information
  • removes trash when necessary
  • keeps all bars and storage areas well stocked to maximize efficiency
  • maintains pristine and well organized bar and storage areas
  • develops and maintains positive relations with guests and employees
  • wears and maintains all uniforms properly, including nametag and gaming license if possessed
  • alerts supervisor of any concerns about beverage quality, selection, and variety
  • complies with security policies, the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, and internal procedures
  • maintains alertness to all responsibilities and bar operations
  • receives training and guidance from Bar Manager and staff
  • identifies and prevents underage gaming or drinking
  • ensures punctual and reliable attendance
  • performs other duties and special projects as directed
