Job Requirements

  • Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be TIPS certified or become certified within 30 days of hire
  • Must have a current Food Handlers card
  • Prior experience in a bar or hospitality setting preferred but not required
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be TIPS certified or become certified within 30 days of hire
  • Must have a current Food Handlers card
  • Previous experience passionately providing food and beverage service to others preferred
  • Familiarity in restaurant terminology and food service techniques
  • Prior experience in a bar or hospitality setting preferred but not required
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Assisting in inventory management by restocking bar supplies including liquor mixers garnishes glassware and other essential items
  • Preparing the bar area before service ensuring cleanliness organization and readiness
  • Assist in setting up the bar station including arranging bottles glasses and utensils
  • Help with breakdown and cleanup at the end of the shift
  • Supporting bartenders during peak hours by fetching and carrying items such as ingredients ice and glassware
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workspace to facilitate efficient service
  • Interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner assisting with inquiries and providing exceptional service
  • Adhering to all safety and sanitation standards including proper handling of hazardous materials equipment and cleaning chemicals
  • Follow all legal regulations and policies regarding the service of alcohol
  • Adhering to departmental policies and procedures
  • Effectively communicate with peers management line and front of the house employees
  • Practicing effective listening seek to understand
  • Performing related duties as required
  • Being responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property
  • Being familiar with all hotel services features and local attractions activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
  • Maintaining complete knowledge of all liquor brands beers and non-alcoholic selections correct glassware and garnishes
