Job Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as required
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as host or similar role in a luxury high-volume restaurant
- Previous experience as a barback in a high-volume bar or restaurant preferred
- A genuine love for culinary experiences and passion for Japanese cuisine
- Naturally friendly and customer-oriented with skills at creating memorable dining experiences
- A natural team player comfortable working with a large team
Job Duties
- Assist bartenders in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after service including arranging bottles glassware and bar tools and ensuring necessary supplies are available
- Stock and replenish bar inventory including liquor mixers garnishes and other supplies to ensure efficient drink preparation
- Prepare garnishes such as citrus wedges olives and herbs according to established recipes and standards ensuring freshness and attractiveness
- Monitor and manage the supply of ice ensuring ice bins are filled and machines are functioning properly
- Provide support to bartenders during service including fetching and carrying items clearing empty glasses and bottles and assisting with guest requests
