Job Requirements
- Ability to perform essential job functions consistently and safely according to ADA, FMLA, and other standards
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance
- Ability to lift and carry 10 to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to move frequently within the property including bending, lifting, carrying, reaching
- Ability to climb steps regularly
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a bar attendant, barback or runner
- Energy, enthusiasm, and passion for food and hospitality
- Experience serving both beverages and food
- Ability to work and remain focused in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of bar operations preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Job Duties
- Deliver excellent guest experience by supporting bartenders during service
- Greet guests, serve water, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages as directed by bartenders
- Interact politely and courteously with guests, fellow employees, and supervisors
- Anticipate and accommodate needs of guests in a timely manner
- Keep liquor displays and shelving organized and maintain par levels
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Ensure adequate stock behind the bar and communicate needs to bar attendants
- Comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards
- Perform other duties as requested
- Work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
