Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in barback or bar support role preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications required or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous barback or bar support experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar preferred
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and handle repetitive motions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Current Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications or ability to obtain upon hire
- Team player with strong communication skills and a positive demeanor
Job Duties
- Support bartenders during service by restocking spirits, beer, wine, ice, garnishes, glassware, and supplies
- Maintain bar cleanliness, sanitation, and organization at all times
- Assist with prep tasks including juicing, batching cocktails, cutting garnishes, and stocking mixers
- Ensure all bar stations are fully set up before service and properly broken down at the end of the shift
- Remove trash, bar mats, and empty glassware throughout service
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Communicate effectively with bartenders, servers, and management
- Provide excellent internal guest service by supporting the bar team's needs
