Job Requirements

  • Must meet local legal minimum age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • ability to work late night shifts potentially until 12 AM to 4 AM
  • work assigned scheduled shifts
  • alcohol awareness certification required
  • food handling certificate a plus
  • fluent in English, able to speak, read, write
  • ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • able to bend at the waist and lift items up to 50 lbs to waist level
  • able to move items up to 50 lbs for distances up to 25 feet
  • able to remain standing and active for an 8-12 hour shift
  • able to tolerate exposure to cold temperatures below 0 degrees F
  • able to hear, understand, and respond in loud environments
  • skill and coordination using hands for pouring drinks, carrying glasses, cutting garnishes

Job Duties

  • Live and embrace company vision and core values

  • follow image and appearance standards
  • maintain positive attitude and provide excellent service
  • ensure bar is stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, bar tools, and cleaning items
  • prepare bar prep items using recipes and proper portioning
  • follow FIFO procedures for product freshness
  • maintain high production standards for drinks
  • change beer kegs, soft drink containers, and CO2 tanks
  • perform bar set up and closing duties
  • clean and prepare bar and tables
  • stock supplies and maintain cleanliness
  • provide basic food and beverage knowledge to guests
  • deliver beverages and food ensuring positive guest experience
  • comply with state and federal liquor laws
  • adhere to alcohol awareness procedures
  • ensure bar equipment is operational
  • clean and polish glassware
  • communicate with team via radios
  • work cohesively with team members
  • assist other departments as needed
  • work well under pressure
  • follow manager directions
  • support marketing initiatives
  • adhere to safety, sanitation, and administrative procedures
