Job Duties
- perform opening and closing duties such as organizing provisions and tools
- clean all equipment and areas
- secure doors by locking them
- check with captain or supervisor before leaving at end of shift
- organize, stock, and maintain work areas
- supply the ice station, glassware, and paper provisions
- remove dirty items from bar surfaces and tables
- keep work areas, bar, bar furnishings, tables, and other equipment clean and in good condition following guidelines
- comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- complete safety training and certifications
- ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional
- maintain confidentiality of company information and protect company property
- support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
- assist the team to achieve common goals
- meet quality assurance standards
- move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects under 50 pounds without assistance
- stand, sit or walk for extended periods or the entire shift
- visually read and verify information in various formats
- grasp, turn, and manipulate items requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- reach above head and below knees, including bending, twisting, dragging, and stooping
- navigate inclined, uneven or slippery surfaces and stairs
- greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards
- communicate clearly and professionally with others
- answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette
- perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
