Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in bar or restaurant preferred
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Ability to tolerate exposure to liquids frequently
Ability to communicate in English
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of bar operations and safety procedures
Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
Good interpersonal skills and team-oriented attitude
Willingness to learn and adapt
Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines

Job Duties

Stock and restock appropriate areas of the bar with alcohol, glassware, ice, and supplies
Arrange and set up beverages, mixes, garnishes and supplies, and prepare drink mixes
Work a variety of hours, days and shifts including weekends
Safely and effectively transport filled glass racks, ice and cases of liquor, beer, and wine
Tolerate exposure to liquids frequently including water, cleaning solutions, alcohol, and juices
Safely use and operate necessary tools and equipment including knives and blenders
Communicate effectively to perform and follow job requirements
Multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment
Work in confined, crowded space with variable noise and temperature
Move and lift weight up to 50 pounds
Stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely throughout the restaurant
Ensure the overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests' needs
Greet guests warmly and sincerely
Use tact and good judgment dealing with guest challenges
Safely change beer kegs, CO2 tanks and soda dispensers
Wash and sanitize glassware manually
Maintain security of all bar stock and inventory
Recognize intoxicated guests and refuse service when necessary
Respond knowledgeably to questions about the restaurant and menu
Follow all steps of service and safety and sanitation guidelines
Complete alcohol awareness training
Follow all rules, policies, and procedures of employment
Work well with others and be a team player
Perform other duties as assigned
