Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred but not required
  • valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
  • ability to work at a fast pace
  • ability to understand oral and/or written instructions
  • ability to lift and carry objects up to 10 pounds independently or with assistance
  • availability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • reliable attendance and punctuality
  • physical stamina for extended standing and manual tasks
  • capacity to work under moderate to extreme stress
  • ability to use peripheral and focused vision
  • commitment to uniform standards and grooming
  • effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Maintain high knowledge regarding company products and happenings events
  • effectively communicate such to guests
  • maintain cleanliness of bar, counters, glassware, and utensils
  • stock bar initially with liquor, beer, wine, juices, mixes, glassware, utensils, cocktail napkins, garnishes, condiments, etc.
  • provide aid to bartenders in re-stocking and maintaining par levels
  • document inventory use, spills, and waste accordingly
  • stock refrigerating units with wines, beer, etc.
  • change empty beer kegs
  • monitor coolers for proper temperature and report deficiencies to management
  • maintain adequate supply of ice to all bars
  • empty trash cans at the bars regularly and ensure they are cleaned and lined
  • clean and stock supply room where all bar products are stored
  • notify manager or supervisor of low inventory and recommend new inventory
  • assist bartenders with cleaning and breakdown of bars at end of shifts
  • complete opening, running, and closing duties as assigned
  • assist in training new employees within the department
  • follow proper lifting and carrying techniques
  • perform other duties in connection with organizational effectiveness as assigned by supervisory staff
