Job Requirements

  • A valid CA Certified Food Handlers card and valid Responsible Beverage Service Training is required
  • must be 21+ years of age
  • must be authorized to work in the United States
  • previous relevant experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant is preferred
  • must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs
  • must have excellent time management skills
  • must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
  • must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
  • must have high energy, great communication skills, and be able to work as part of a team
  • must have attention to detail and willingness to deliver exceptional customer service

Job Duties

  • Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks
  • ensure that all supplies are stocked and readily available
  • maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down counters and tables, cleaning glassware and utensils
  • assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the bar area
  • provide excellent customer service to guests
  • ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • perform other tasks as assigned
