Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma preferred
- internal candidates must have been in their current position for at least six months with no active disciplinary action in the last six months
- ability to work a variety of shifts including day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- must be able to complete and pass all alcohol awareness and training and obtain certificates, and all other food alcohol and food safety training as required by The Nash
- must be 21 years of age or older
- must pass all required background checks
- ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to move throughout the work area for the entire workday
- ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, balance, and work in a bar environment
- ability to tolerate temperature changes and frequent hand immersion in water and cleaning solutions
- must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted and can be loud
- ability to distinguish letters or symbols and eye-hand coordination
- must work safely and adhere to safety policies

Job Duties
- Maintain a clean and well-organized bar
- stock liquor, beer, ice, wine, and glassware throughout the shift
- properly label, date, cover, and refrigerate prepped items in the bar
- perform opening, closing and side duties including setting up and breaking down the bar, cleaning glass and countertops, sweeping the floor
- rotate product to maintain freshness
- put away liquor and beer orders as necessary
- prepare fruit and other garnish and make scratch recipes if applicable
- assist the bartender in greeting guests and welcoming them upon arrival to the bar
- assist with food delivery and pre-bussing as necessary
- maintain regular attendance at scheduled shifts and staff meetings
- use all bar equipment, cleaning, and sanitizing products in accordance with MSDS sheets and departmental standards
- provide exceptional service to internal and external guests
- develop and maintain professional, trusting, and positive working relationships
- work safely following company safety policies and procedures
- maintain professionalism and a friendly and approachable demeanor
- assist with training and mentoring new team members as requested
- maintain all appearance standards in accordance with uniform guidelines
- inform manager on duty of any irregularities
- maintain honesty and integrity
- work independently or with a team
- comply with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry
