Job Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • one or more years of recent and related bar experience preferably in hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environment
  • at least twenty-one years of age
  • successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and hazardous material training
  • ability to perform physical tasks including walking, climbing stairs, crouching, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, standing for entire shifts
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
  • regular and reliable attendance

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience working in a bar, preferably within hospitality, restaurant, bar, or gaming environment
  • experience performing within deadlines or under pressure
  • demonstrated problem solving, organizing, and prioritizing skills
  • effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills in English

Job Duties

  • Assists bartenders with keeping the bar clean and well stocked
  • stocks bars with glassware, napkins, straws, garnishes, and beverages
  • interact with guests in a positive and friendly manner
  • assists guests with any questions regarding bar operations or resort information
  • removes trash when necessary
  • keeps all bars and storage areas well stocked to maximize efficiency
  • maintains pristine and well organized bar and storage areas
  • develops, maintains, and enhances positive relations with guests and employees
  • wears and maintains all uniforms properly including nametag and gaming license if applicable
  • alerts supervisor of concerns regarding quality, selection, and variety of beverages
  • complies with established security policies, Colorado Limited Gaming Act, and internal procedures
  • maintains alertness for all responsibilities and awareness of bar operations
  • receives training and guidance from bar manager and staff
  • identifies and prevents underage persons from participating in gaming or drinking
  • maintains punctual and consistent attendance
  • performs other duties and special projects as needed
