Job Requirements
- available to work various shift times and days including weekends and holidays
- able to stand and/or walk for long periods
- ability to lift over 50 lbs if necessary
- authorized to legally work in the US
Job Qualifications
- current food handlers and alcohol certification
- minimum of 2 years' experience preferably in a high-volume environment
- knowledge of in-house cocktails and menu offerings
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to train and support team members
- ability to pass exams with 90% or better in food and beverage and training tests throughout employment
Job Duties
- build a rapport with guests and assist their requests
- maintain the guest eye view behind the bar
- support the bar team with restocking and preparing garnishes
- communicate effectively with team members and guests
- manage stock and inventory to reduce wastage
- adhere to cleaning and delivery procedures for a safe workspace
- report punctually for shifts and maintain proper attire and hygiene
- change kegs and restock products efficiently
- complete opening, closing, and running duties as assigned
- foster teamwork by training new barbacks
- maintain a positive attitude during service
