Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for 8 hours' length of time
  • Ability to walk and/or stand approximately 90 percent of shift
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular and continuous basis
  • Requires a working knowledge of food and beverage service
  • Familiarity with industry relevant point of sales systems
  • Ability to practice and adhere to all safety requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
  • Ability to work a flexible scheduling, including days, nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of combined experience in full-service food and beverage environments
  • Working knowledge of food and beverage service
  • Familiarity with industry relevant point of sales systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Additional language skills are desirable
  • Ability to work flexible scheduling including days, nights, and weekends

Job Duties

  • Set up, clean and prepare bar area for the start of business
  • Stock garnishes, ice, mixers and glassware, replenishing as necessary
  • Prepare garnishes for drinks, replenishing snacks, while clearing tableware for bar patrons
  • Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support the bartender for drink preparation
  • Clear and reset tables in the bar area as necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar, including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage area
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory as directed by the bartender or bar manager
  • Practice cleanliness and safety in all bar areas, liquor and wine storage areas
  • Transport all dirty tableware from bar area to dishwashing area for proper cleaning
  • Participate in daily staff meetings and department training meetings
  • Assist team members as needed to promote a teamwork environment
